In this project, students create, maintain, and update the university department website as a student webmaster. Work that has already been completed includes implementing a backup system, and a simple way to migrate from a dev environment to a production environment. We hope to accomplish a project management solution that will allow students to login and manage their projects including but not limited to:
- Conversations with other members of the project
- Uploading tool to submit project files
- Progress meter for current project objective
- To do list for upcoming parts of projects
- Issue tracker for problems one or all project members have
- Ability to add more projects as they come in
These things will all be available within the website so it will be a one stop shop for all projects related to the university department. It will also serve to making projects easier in the future since new classes or new students on a project will be able to see previous work, issues, fixes, and conversations from other students on the projects.
