Bacula Backup Server – IT Living Lab

This project consisted of backing up the servers in an university department. The Bacula server ran on Debian which is a Linux distribution. Bacula is an open source program that allows the server to manage backups, recovery, and verification of computer data across a network of different kinds of computers.

FreeNAS is an open-source, Linux based freeBSD, network storage operating system. It can be installed on virtually any hardware platform that allows it to share data over a network. Living Lab was a last-minute choice for me, and now I feel it should be the first choice anyone makes. The hands-on experience I have gained has helped me tremendously.
