This projects focuses on assisting a local organization throughout the semester with several of their goals and needs. The priority is the evaluation of and then stabilization of the company’s local wired and wireless network. The network has several known issues and is a constant source of frustration on their campus. Once that is complete, there are other goals such as Office 365 deployment, security training and the development of a registration application available to be worked on this semester and potentially in the future.

As of November 2017, this project is nearly completed. The network has been vastly improved, although there are still issues with the hardware being used. However, that hardware is scheduled to be replaced in the first quarter of 2018. In light of the success with the network, the organization moved forward with the deployment of Office 365 which has been largely successful. Barring setbacks, the deployment and subsequent troubleshooting will likely complete just as the Fall 2017 semester comes to a close.
